The Cast of "The Game"
Sitcom lovers across the world are rejoincing at the possibility of cancelled CW show “The Game” returning next season on BET. According to reports, BET is in talks with CBS to obtain the rights to produce a new season of “The Game” to air on BET.
Given the lack of quality programing on BET, “The Game” is a welcomed addition to the line up. While CBS and BET are both owned by media giant Viacom, a unaffiliated production company is holding out. If the kinks are ironed out, BET plans to announce the news at the upcoming BET Awards ( June 28th).
Let’s all hope that the show doesn’t suddenly turn into a pop, lock, and drop it fest. Every black person with the exception of Leroy and Boonquisha knows that BET has not been worth watching since Teen Summit and Video Soul. This may be the balance BET needs; currently the programming is hoodrat heavy and thugged out.
