Dr. Marc Lamont Hill Fired From Fox News
Dr. Mark Lamont Hill, a fierce liberal and Fox news correspondent, received his walking papers. Hill who began dancing with the devil after the Obama campaign, received wide spread blogosphere criticism for his support of controversial figures like Assata Shakur (former black panther and Tupac’s aunt) and Mumia Abu-Jamal.
Initially via his twitter page Dr. Hill denied his termination saying “Relax, y’all. Don’t believe the internet rumors”. Rupert Murdoch revealed that the firing of Hill was prompted after a shareholder raised the question of how Hill was hired, citing his “reputation of defending cop killers and racists.”
Hill, who is also currently a professor at Columbia University, recently got into a tuft with conservative author David Horowitz, who called him a “an affirmative action baby.”
Mark’s criticism has not been strictly focused on the right. In the video below, he criticizes President Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize win. Whatever the case, Hill should have abandoned the ship long ago. Fox News is not a resume builder.
